Okay, I finally re-booted my blog. I haven't restored the old content yet, but I'll get to that soon. Here's the new address: tweedinthecity.com or tweedinthecity.wordpress.com. Thanks to everone for all the continued interest--I'm sorry if I didn't respond to your PMs, but I thought it would be a lot easier to make a public announcement.*

The blog is now hosted by Wordpress, which affords me a lot more flexibility than blogger. The new format allows me to better organize longer articles and larger collections of images. Also, everything is bigger and higher resolution. Please let me know if something doesn't work right or if you have any other suggestions.

The first post is dedicated to LabelKing.

*Moderators, please move this to the appropriate forum if necessary.

Are you going to put any hot chicks in your new Wordpress site?

If you find me pictures of hot chicks wearing only tweed jackets, I'll post them and give you credit.

Don't forget to use this homage to a famous line from Top Gun: I feel the need... the need for tweed!

For some of you, an NSFW link to a giant pic of a brunette in tweed lingerie, specifically, a Shepherd's check.

For the rest of you, it will be completely safe because (a) the jumblies are covered and (b) you are reading StyleForvm from a poorly monitored state prison.

Nice blog.

The liar in me found stuff to mark up, but disregard that.

How did you find out about the ivorymongers in Paris? Did you fill out a CITES declaration on re-entering the US?

Perhaps on a future visit you can hit Maison Bonnet. Their tortoiseshell cufflinks and collar stays are sold at Arnys and Halary.

I once saw a guy in a pink bunny costume bicycle past me in Berkeley.

Is that a chick or a pasty teenage boy? Either way, the cropped pants are unappealing.

I had one made for my wife in Naples but she won't wear it. I had to settle for an Ambrosi skirt made of Woodhouse twill. Still hot, just less so.

'Need for Tweed' was a runner-up for the title--right after 'Live Tweed or Die Hard'.

How about:

The Man with the Golden Tweed?
Octotweedy?
You Only Live Tweed?
On Her Majesty's Tweedy Service?
The Spy Who Loved Tweed?
