Rogue Territory: Handmade Denim Goods - Page 93

25% off site-wide on Need Supply - seemingly no RgT exclusions. Seems like all sizes in core denim and ISC trousers/work shirts.

Any suggestions on Trousers for guys with bigger thighs and slimmer waist? I want to take advantage of this sale but not sure if I should go with ISC or Officer. I tried on the sk 14.5 and 32 seemed the best fit from the waist down but I had about .5 extra room in the waist and I think a 31 would have been perfect in the waist but too tight in the thighs. Right now I have some Raeligh Denim Martins in a 33, those have a 34 inch waist which is ideal just not sure how RgT pants fit compared to their Raws. I tried on the stantons as well but those were way to loose for me i like the smaller leg opening on the SK better just couldnt get the right fit in the thighs and knees.

I think the Trousers are similar to the Stanton cut, at least in size 28.  I had tried on the Stealth SK in a 29 a while back, and the calves were super tight but the waist was a bit loose.  It was recommended to size down in the Stanton cut and the fit was about perfect.

I just ordered a pair of the trousers and the measurements seem almost identical to the Stealth Stanton's I got, with maybe a 1/4 inch more room in the thighs.

Officer trousers or ISC trousers? Thanks for the heads up ill compare the Stealths to what im looking at. On RGT site for the size tip it says that the Officer runs smaller than their other pants so i would assume this means in the waist? If thats the case then comparing them to the SK that I tried on the only problem for me was the loose waist, but if the trousers fit the same from the top down with a smaller waist I would assume the 32 should fit perfect then if the measurements are the same. I think the leg opening is wider though for the trousers which is usually the case for khakis and such compared to jeans.

I picked up the Bronze Officer trousers.  If you're ordering from Need Supply, which I did - I believe they offer free returns.

Sorry in my previous post, I meant to say my Stealth Stantons.  I sent the SK's back.

Tht makes a lot more sense lol I tried the stantons but they were way to roomy for me so its posible these pants may be to baggy for my fit. What size did you order if you dont mind me asking? My main worry is the taper and leg opening, i tend to sway towards the more tapered cuts but sometimes getting something small enough in the legs means waist doesnt measure up.

You could always just get the Stantons and have them tapered a bit.

Anyone else think the back rise is too long, causing the back butt area to stick out? Referring to both the SKs and Stantons.

Not at all. Both my stanton and SK make me look like I have the flattest butt ever. Maybe I should do more squats.

Yea I wish my stantons were more tapered. Consensus with getting selvedge denim tapered requires going to a denim specialist? I guess your normal mom and pop dry cleaners are a no no?

Honestly I would consider email RgT and see if they can do it or recommend somebody, every brand of raws is different and who better to alter your expensive denim than the people who made that jean.

Railcar Fine Goods does Denim alterations and repairs and Lone Flag now has a denim specialist on staff that does alterations also. As suggested ask Karl for a recommendation too.

I've had jeans tapered by Railcar Fine Goods and was happy with the results. I have another pair I'm planning on sending them soon.

Finally picked up an ISC workshirt after wanting one for maybe a year. It's seriously fantastic. Big thanks to @StandardStrange (pretty sure that's the shop's SF handle) for the holiday weekend discount code.

I also got an ISC workshirt. Much stiffer than I expected and could barely undo the buttons.
