Instore - same dates.

I just moved to the DC area. What's the selection like at the Chevy Chase store and is it worth a look?

I just called my old guy at the BH store and he confirmed (yet again) that EG's will not be in the Sale!

Yes - there is a CODE (and it clearly states that it is a 'One Time' use).

My SA called me this weekend and told me what was gunna be going on sale and it sounds like a good amount of stuff (he really only told me about Black label suiting). But if the La Jolla store has 5 Black label suits going, that means bigger stores must have a nice selection.

Edit: Just got my invite in the mail. 40 + 15 is always nice to see.

So you need an invite to shop at the store or can you just walk in and purchase? I need to get me a pair of Darltons,are they going to be on sale?
What is the word on PL suits? Anybody has info?

I got two envelopes.

One had the 40 + 15 info w/ the NOV0509 code for use Nov 5th through Nov 9th

The other had the "exclusive invitation" to their pre-sale event taking place October 27 through Nov. 4th. That one has a one time use code that gives you the 40+15 during the pre-sale. The pre-sale website they list is ralphlauren.com/MVC which will share with you "specially selected items reserved for the pre-sale".

The only restrictions they list on the back are previously purchased merch, men's or women's lizard, croc, gator, ostrich or python accessories, philanthropy product, men's MTM product, antiques, vintage items, photography, watches or gift cards. Nothing about PL shoes.....

" To schedule a private appointment, please call 888-475-7674 or visit a Ralph Lauren Store". I'm guessing you could walk in and buy. In this economy they're not going to NOT sell to you just b/c you forgot your card at home.

You don't need a special invitation. Just show up. Your money is as good as anyone else's.

Yes, definitely worth a look, IMO. It's one of my favorite RL stores to shop, and I never miss an opportunity to pay them a visit when I'm in DC.
