It strikes me that this is a sub-thread of the Tweed Appreciation Thread but I admit to a deep admiration for gun club checks, myself. I even have one . . .

I saw this thread and thought "SWEET! GUNS!" That said, I'm a little disappointed. I like the fabric, but I like guns more. Also, being that I'm in the South West of the USA, I can state with utmost confidence that we ain't wear no fancy-pants stuff like tham ther jackets.

That said, maybe I should start wear gun club stuff? My fear is, however, that a shell will land on something and singe it. I had it happen to a new felt hat, once :(.
