These actually aren't Aldens. I love Aldens but they aren't in the same world as these. I actually wanted to see if someone could help me identify the maker/age of these. They are Brooks English made in Great Britain.

Most of the old Brooks English I've seen were made by Church's though these don't really look like any of the others I've seen. They're on a soft chisel last. The inside is actually in good shape. Here are some pics of the soles and inside:

Whoops you and the other guy called it, I just took a quick look and thought they were the Aldens. I think they actually are Church's.

Regardless great looking shoes!!

I knew from the first pic where this was going. Any time you see dusty old whitish shell like this in otherwise good condition, you NEED to KOPP. And then POLISH

Good job on the polishing but the metal eyelets kill it for me. I don't understand why they make otherwise nice shoes with ugly metal eyelets.
