Thanks for the positive comments. Having only sold on-line up until now this is a new venture for me. I'm looking forward to meeting SF members.

The white background wins by a mile - the detail gets lost in the darker background. I think the darker background is more suited for product shots for promotional use, because it does give it a nicer look - but if someone is actually making the decision to buy, first and foremost they want to get a very good look at what they are purchasing.

I saw that there is a free shoehorn included when you buy a shoe, how do I claim this when I purchase a shoe?

Remind me your're a Styleforum Member by Email after the online purchase or if it's a MTO include it in the "Notes" section.

Would someone mind advising me what size I need to get for G&G DG70 last if I wear 9/9.5E Edward Green on 888 last and 8.5 in John Lobb 7000 last?

I have asked similar questions before and from the feedback it seems the size of 9 fit you most (G&G equal to EG in size).

im interested in the mto program you have from g&g but picking a color from the swatches is a bit tough for me. are there pics of completed shoes in all the different colors (not every combo possible just each color represented in an actual shoe) specificaly the brandy calf, i see most of the other colors represented in rtw list.
thanks!

I would recommend Size 9 with G&G. I have several EG 888 Lasted shoes and my G&G shoes are exactly the same. Tight when I first wear them and then they loosen slightly and feel perfect with some wear. I'm also very familiar with JL 7000. This last has always ran slightly larger than most JL and EG lasts. An 8.5 on G&G would be far too tight compared with the JL7000. I hope this helps.

It can depend on the EG last. The 202 and 82 in my experience has always felt tighter than their others. I have always gone up half a size with those two.

If I wear a 11.5 E UK on the EG 202, I should order a 12 E on the CG06?
