Just received a pair of Wigmore boots in Ancient Rioja. Superb boots. And wonderful service as well. Highly recommended. Thanks very much, Nick.

Initially, I had buyer's remorse on the Wigmore with a single leather sole. I sent it back to G&G for resoling with a double micro sole....it now looks much better balanced and I enjoy the comfort level coming with the micro sole The Wigmore is an awesome quasi-balmoral boot

The Wigmore is proving to be a popular boot. I've just placed an order for some in Vintage Cherry Calf with the same matching colour Pin Grain tops. Any one who would like a pair, let me know...I can add to the order. They are on the TG73 last / Ready in May.

No news on Ettinger yet. I hope to have stock next month. I've just received more G&G shoes. Look at my new "News Blog" for the latest deliveries. I'm just about to start selling Edwin Jagger shaving accessories.

Can you do the inlaid metal toe taps on your G&G's? If so what is the upcharge for that service?

Also out of curiosity, about what % of your orders are for dainite/other rubber soles, rather than leather?

Yes, metal toe tips can be ordered. Cost is £20.00 a pair. Most customers have leather soles. Probably 2% have rubber soles. The Isham & Hove usually are ordered with storm welt & double leather soles. However, I have some of these on order for this summer with single leather soles & no storm welt.

I wear C&J 337 last and Church's 173 last in size 8E and 8F respectively.
While some members say G&G TG73 is half size bigger than C&J 337, others say they are the same. It's really confusing. I don't think I have wide feet.
I only find size 8.5 of Michell on your website.

Which size do you think would be better fitted? And do you have any plan to order more Mitchells?

In my experience the C&J 337 fits very much the same as the G&G TG73. It seems to me that you would be 8E with the G&G TG73 last.

These are the only Mitchell's I have at the moment. I don't have these coming in to stock for this year so the easier way to order these is as a Made to Order pair.

I'm just about to place a Made to Order list of shoes with G&G so let me know if you would like to have these included.

I have found moving up from C&J size 10 to G&G size 10.5 fits me although I might actually go up to F width in G&G (I wear E in C&J). But I think the G&G should fit tighter on the foot though, being a more elegant shoe. I have yet to decide on the width.
