Is Vintage Cherry a red or a brown? I'm assuming it is more brown whereas EG burgundy is more red?

shoes on the right are vintage cherry, on the left are vintage rioja, when this picture was taken both pairs were un worn and as they come from G&G

How does Vintage Rioja compare with Bordeux? I'm picturing Bordeux is somewhere between Vintage Rioja and Vintage Cherry.

I don't get the G&G lasts.

The JL7000 and JL8000 look infinitely better in my eye.

To me, the G&G DG70 last looks a lot like the JL7000 last, and the G&G MH71 last looks a lot like the JL8000 last.

I think the JL lasts are more subtle. The DG70 is more elongated that the JL7000 for sure. But I see what you mean.

I love the smart round last. It suits me perfectly.

One question, what polish would you se for vintage Rioja shoes?

black wax is what Tony gave me and what they advise for the rioja, but i also use a bordo' cream and then black wax

wrong! bordeux from G&G is the aniline version of the rioja which is a crust, like expresso is the aniline version of vintage oak, this is the only difference AFAIK

Great advice the black polish. I am going to try.

What about vintage Cherry? I also have a pair on that colour, and I never know what to use.

I have some polish called Havana (kind of redish brown) but I think some cream from time to time would get it better, but I don't know in which colour.
