That does seem ambitious. I was going to say Swiss Chalet but I think you're probably aiming for something a bit more refined. You could always just stop by Tim's and get a donut and coffee.

Where is the game? If that is a Senators game then it is certainly overambitious; the stadium is way out in the suburbs. You will need nearly an hour to get out of there and back downtown.

That sounds like a much better plan.

If you like eastern european dining there is Amber Garden on Carling as I recall. A bit out of the way but great food and service. Plus they have more types of vodka than you can imagine.

If you like Lebanese food with a great atmosphere then there is Fairouz. Located in an fine old house the great food with warm hospitality in an elegant environment.

went here for dinner, really good meal. I don't know if one of eric's friends (who recomended the place) said something to somebody, or if they just where impressed that I made the reservation from chicago, but they were very excited when I got there and the chef came out to greet me. anyway, it was a great meal and great experience.

Ahora is nice little Mexican restaurant I recently discovered. It's pretty easy to miss as it's on the basement level of a building on Dalhousie (close to intersection of York, I think). They serve mostly burritos and tacos, with rice/salad/nachos on the side. Had a steak quesedilla with salad which was pretty good and only cost around 8 bucks. The horchata they serve is also decent, but not great. I'd repeat and definitely recommend the place if you're on a budget and tired of fast food.
