. But really? The n word? It's like he slips into some sort of a coma or something. Or all his filters fall off.
As far as AF "in time out," when is enough going to be enough? We ALL sit around and say, "Ah, he's a nice guy and he's just baiting." First time, sure. Second time, no problem. Third time, well, he's a nice guy. Fourth time, oh, okay, well, he went a little far this time, but usually, he's nice. Fifth time... blagh blagh. You get the idea. No Darwin Award winner got his Prize on the first try. There are maybe 3 options here, AFAICS: 1. The man thinks using that/those type of words is fine. = makes him a racist. 2. The man genuinely (or fakely) doesn't understand why those words have a negative history, or why that history is irrelevant, or why his own history/life make him NOT the person to use them. =makes him an idiot, possibly a racist. 3. The man is so intellectually incurious and blinded by partisanship that he believes that the debate around those words is NOT an issue of decency or maturity, but of Democrat and Republican, liberal/conservative. =makes him an even bigger idiot, but maybe NOT a racist. (For the record, my vote is for option 3)
