He seems to be a bit bitter about the decision.

I imagine that he would be. However, the moderation decision (not mine, btw, although I fully support it) stands.

Not everyone likes everyone else on the board. That is just life. However, in the case, as it was here, that many posters wrote to moderators complaining about the conduct of a (fairly new) member, and the entire moderation team agrees that that member is disruptive, perhaps the banned member should examine his own conduct. I think that of all the men's clothing fora, Styleforum has the most easygoing moderation team, and bannings of contributing members (i.e. not spammers) is not taken lightly.

I wonder if banned geezers still lurk on the forum or do they denounce it completely...?

Considering how quickly they complain about SF threads over in their forum, I am certain.

The Guantanamo Bay thread in CE has gone bye-bye because there was no discussion of the actual topic-at-hand.

There should be some way to discourage those that do not understand how to use capitalization.

There a number of posters in Streetwear that never use capitalization. Old dover trad is clearly hogging all the uppercase letters and depriving the children of them.

It is hard to switch back and forth between the SFs and remember to use or not use caps. Sometimes I find myself capitalizing "Use The Funky Search Button" when I'm over there, for example. It isn't easy.
