Why is Teger in time out? I checked his recent posts and saw nothing particularly offensive. At least... no more offensive than his usual CE trolling.

Called someone a retard I think.

I thought the thread was funny.

****Please don't ban me****

It would seem that the time out has been used heavily and inconsistently.
It also would seem that if you question moderation or mods you get banned. (Silverback, God rest his soul)

Recently, we (mostly Fok) have been using it more often because people seem to be getting out of hand. We cannot be everywhere all the time, so we do what we think is correct about what we do see, and hope that others who are being rude to each others, etc., will consider it a warning and keep themselves in line better. As for Silverback, I was the one he was going after, Fok (I think) was the one who banned him, and most of the mods agreed that he was primarily there to troll and derail discussions. SField was being pretty abusive in that thread and it seemed totally unwarranted to me, esp. considering the thread. I guess I'm more likely to lean to the side of a ban/temp ban when pretty much all I see from someone is negativity.

Nothing but the user title, which I didn't bother to change, and Fok did.

Silverback was just being an asshole. The guy's name is "Silverback" and his avatar is a gorilla. J (I think) jokingly called him a monkey in a completely non-racial, non-offensive context and SB acted like he was being called the "n word" or something. Then when just about everyone and their mother told him to back off and take it easy, he kept pressing the issue

This dude has been here since 2006 and he doesn't know better than to create the same thread 3 times in three months AND post the question in "Jeans Questions"???

You probably wouldn't have thought it all that funny if it was you he was refering to.

I don't find anything about Teger amusing. Not that my vote counts. The kid had earned a cooling off period.

I must be one of those retards teger speaks of, as i don't know either. Either that or i'm too tired to figure it out. Is thin ice in that cup or something? I can't tell
post #5129 of 9842
That last drop will overfill the cup. Its sort of like a camel, carrying the maximum amount of straw it can carry without breaking it's back, and then adding one more piece of straw.
