Cross post from manhattan sales alert thread:

Stopped by Isaia sale this morning. Very weak on accessories (hardly any ties, belts, pocket squares or shoes), but tailored clothing seemed to have a pretty good selection. If you are a 38 there's a good selection of suits and sports coats - lots of flannel suits with really nice chalk stripes and window panes. Seemed like, as usual there was no shortage of stuff in 40-42 US as well though I didnt browse as much on that end. Also, if this is your thing, I noticed at least on Casentino overcoat in 40 I think.

decent amount of shirts especially at EU 40 and 41, though a few in EU 38 and 39. smallish selection of knitwear that seemed mostly M-XL.

If you are a 36 US, there was one suit hidden in the 38s. Solid brown 2 button single breasted, 95% wool, 5% lycra. It was on the rack all the way to the left about 4 or 5 back.

I got a message from a sales rep here at our Orlando Cucinelli outlet that they have a single "Farm raised crocodile to prevent scratches and maintain authenticity" bag from the FW 12 collection. Retail was 20K, Outlet is 12K, on sale @9.9K. PM me and I'll put you in touch if it hasn't flown already.

Ralph Lauren is on at Soiffer Haskin.  I've never seen so many people at a Ralph Lauren sale:

Mens is about 70% off today across the board, as is most women's.  As always, small sizes and large (true XL and above) will do best. 16.5/Large/36-38 pants were already hit super hard this morning and the staff said that most items don't have a lot of back stock, if any.  As with past sales, there is a lot more black label than purple label, but still some deals to be had.

Saw my man @gyasih, picked up a few things (more on those later) and put this on hold for my wife's boss's wife, who has been looking for a great shearling bomber for her husband for christmas (not sure it was right for her, otherwise would have kopped):

LOL, no, but he is pretty awesome nonetheless.  There was one Large as well, and I hesitated on it, went back and it was gone.  Shit was flying this morning.

Did Soiffer Haskin move across the street? I remember them being on the north side of the street, but it looks like people are lined up on the south side?

That's how many people were there - line had to continue outside, on the other side of the street...

Yup.  I assume it was the proximity to the holiday plus the Friday start that brought everyone out.

Was just at the RL sale. You weren't kidding about the 36W/16.5 being cleared out / non existent. Shoe selection was minimal as well. Saw some things for the lady, but she wasn't with me and didn't feel like taking a chance at sizing.

Yup.  I'm curious to go back on Sunday though, just to see how ugly the ish is that's leftover.
