But, I have to say, if you're looking for a super light weight, extremely well thought out rain jacket, this is a fantastic version. It pained me to spend $300 on a jacket, but I know this is going to be a go-to jacket for 10+ years.

Don't let the word "parka" fool you - it's a parka design, but made of ramie (linen) with NWR and only 1/4 lined. It's super light, breathable, and layerable - perfect!

Sizing tip: it's slim, you should probably size down. I'm 6'3 tall, 180lbs, and reasonably broad shouldered and a medium fits me perfect. It also has generous arms - I need a solid 35"+ sleeve in shirts to get close to my thumb, this jackets sleeves at about .5" past my wrist.

I hate to sound like a shill, but as someone who was searching for a jacket just like this for a long time, this ended up being one of those rare items that actually exceeded my expectations and I was happy to pay the piper for it.

Here's my recent purchase post and below are some images I snagged off the web for it (that are loads better than the gilt ones): http://www.styleforum.net/t/79083/recent-purchases/11700_100#post_6560347

Hope that helps somebody!

There's a whole bunch of pristine looking Fallan & Harvey suits on eBay in roughly 42R. Here's the link to one of them, but the same seller has others. Wish they were 44R - I'd snap them up.

I have the Denham in gray, it's well made, fits slimmer than most similar jackets, and the interior pocket is a nice touch.

I was impressed with the overall fit. The proportions were good, as opposed to some other brands I was thinking of stocking. Some had really long arms but short body, or fitted in the chest but short arms, I tried on the size that fits me in almost everything else.

Lavenham ticked all the fit boxes for me though. Made in England is a nice touch as well.

Any discount codes for  affiliate vendors?  I'm buying a few accessories right now and wondering if anyone has deals on for SF members?

You'll probably do better touching base with affiliates directly - either in their thread or a PM. Affiliate spiffs for members run the gamut and also come and go, every vendor is different.

True 'nuff; just trying to avoid looking like a bum by posting this in a dozen different threads.
