...someone's sleeping with the Nordstrom salesman.
It's funny; you didn't post your prices, but you call someone out for not posting his.
Funny, though . . . nobody else has posted a thread or a comment about the upcoming special sale of specific shoes, boots, and loafers that are coming up - with specific prices, styles, and colors. If you believe the information is so readily available from any sales associate, then by all means - please contribute.
How is Denver?
The information is not for general public release at this time. If you have a Nordstrom's Rewards account, then you will be getting a mass email soon. Or you can email the manager's name I gave you.
In my original thread, I posted the pictures, styles, and prices. The thread was removed because Nordstoms did not want those specifics available on a public website before they released their advertised sale. It was agreed to post the contact information to a manager who would then privately reply to those who emailed him. Why not make it easy on yourself and email him?
Then again, just call them . . . or visit them. Ask them for specific styles, colors, sizes, and prices on their upcoming sale in a few weeks. And if they agree to use their name to post the specifics here, then go ahead. If you just post specifics and no contact person to verify, I would find that incomplete. For myself, I have simply stated the direct email address to a manager (not a sales associate) at Nordstroms where you can get what you need.
Jay, I did post the prices, specifics, colors, and styles. But as I mentioned in an earlier post, the comment was removed because Nordstrom's did not want the details posted prior to their office public announcement. (I did receive many private messages from others, and they are contacting the manager directly now)
As for phone calls, I have not posted the manager's phone number. I only provided his email address, and when you send him an email - he will provide you with his phone, if you wish.
And yes, I have struck up a friendship with both John Donovan and Brett Bohlman. And I do not mind referring any of my friends here at SF to them, or to Paul at Allen Edmonds who I have spoken to.
Choose your wager . . . and speak to Brett, and then PM me for my phone . . . and compare the voices, ages, and IP Addresses.
If there is one principle I live by, I never lie. And I have the means to prove it.
And yes . . . I still wish you the best,
You said "David = Brett. Calling it." and he responded to your assertion. That's not defensive - that is calling you out as wrong. So make the wager, see if you called it correctly, and report back here gloating as the victor or with an apology to the poster.
As someone that actually read the original post I can tell you it was posted but with no link you will have to continue to guess if it was real or not. By the way the Daltons were listed at a price equivalent to the current seconds cost which I thought was a hell of a deal those interested.
