I just got my JAB shoe trees and belt hanger. Was shipped from a store in state (there is a normal store receipt in the box) and somehow made it to me in less than 24 hours...shipping probably cost more than my $13 order.

Belt hanger seems kind of stupid...the hook is just screwed in so you can't swivel it around and it seems like it takes up more space than necessary.

I got a shipping confirmation for the wallet and collar stays but no word on the trees.

Its weird...I didn't even get a shipping confirmation...just got my stuff apparently overnighted from the Rockford IL JAB (might as well have just bike messengered them over from the chicago location) and a normal cash register receipt in the box.

Payed with paypal and still got free shipping. Only thing that sucked was they charged me Chicago tax when usually online orders with a local brick and mortar only charge the 6.75% state sales tax.

I received the aforementioned Edric loafers.

I think I am going to have to return them though...the vamp seems really short which makes them look pretty goofy and feminine to my eyes, especially if I was wearing pants with a narrower leg opening. What do you guys think?


Its a shame because they are actually very nice feeling shoes. Maybe if they were brown (or brown suede) instead of olive...but being both a weird color and a weird cut makes them a little too weird I think. (although maybe I am just imagining things).

Charles Tyrwhitt has slim fit Sea Island shirts for 29.95 GBP. I just received one in the mail today and it is really nice for the money.

The cotton has a very nice hand and it has decent MoP buttons.
