I ordered mine with Royal Mail, didn't even think we were going to get hit with duties. I guess we'll see. Only ordered 2 so after shipping it is about $100/tie.

Mine came with screws too, which I promptly unscrewed.

You may, but it's much less likely than w/ FedEx or DHL, which charge you a fee to perform the customs clearance; there's a financial incentive for them to present your parcel to the customs agent.

BBBF S/S sale is up. 50% off most stuff. Some decent deals, but nothing really caught my eye.

They seem to be cycling the same things through sales over and over again. They're also not the sharpest with inventory control in my past experiences.

Noticed that. Definitely a lot of repeat stuff. Especially for a sale that is touted as Spring/Summer, there are a lot of F/W-looking items on there. I imagine it boils down to trying to get rid of returns and exchanges. I know personally I have sent back a good deal of BBBF stuff.

It's been up for weeks.

At 50%? I thought most everything was around 30-40%, though I never really paid attention. They sent me an email today saying that they added new items, so I figured I'd share. Ignore as necessary.

It's been at 50% for a couple weeks. Brooks Brothers does this frequently. They drop prices on stuff that's been sitting around & then weeks later announce a sale.
