Latest News at Dash's of Old Town in Alexandria, VA

Before I left on my latest buying trip to Italy, we were almost sold out of LBM 1911 label suits and Luigi Bianchi "off-the-rack" suits in our most popular sizes. On this trip, I worked with Luigi Bianchi to secure your favorite LBM 1911 suits, which just arrived today, at 50% Off.

I was also able to obtain several limited edition fabrics from Italy's finest mills like Loro Piana, Zegna & Cerruti. We have enough fabric for 25-30 custom suits. These suits typically run upwards of $2000, but we are able to offer them for $1250 for a limited time.

This is the first day this offer is available, so please call for an appointment or stop by.

All the Best,

-Victor

Decent reviews on amazon, and almost $100 more there, so a respectable PSA, plus I needed anew iron.

Awesome. I was looking for a new iron. The discount stacked with the code FEBSHOP20 and brought the total below $50 icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

There are several pairs of Florsheim by Duckie Brown brogues and saddles at the Brooks Brothers Outlet in Leesburg, Virginia. They're on clearance for $249 + addt'l 70% off... all in all they come out to a cool $78 with tax. They are way comfortable.

You could try calling the store-- they seemed very willing to ship me something if my size wasn't in stock.

I'd caution anyone who hasn't seen these in person to do a search and read some of the recent discussion before ordering. The Duckie Browns are welted, which is nice at this price, but I doubt anyone's going to pay to get them resoled. Made in India of leather of the quality you'd expect from modern Florsheim.

Not trying to rain on the parade -- just want folks to know what they're getting.

+1.

I saw a pair of these in a store the week before they put them on extra discount. Not in my size, so I wasn't tempted. But I opened the box, and they smelled strongly of lacquer; I don't know, maybe it wears off. However, I do think that there is an extra level of quality control done by Brooks Brothers, so these might be a little safer than from other retailers - and you'd be able to return them if there were any problems.

For the OP - was this the only style/color they had?

I've handled my fair share of Duckie Browns, and I agree that they're waayyyyy overpriced, but at $87 shipped they're a steal. They're going to be my new weekend beaters.
