I'm missing the Northeast's fall foliage

A friend just posted some pics of a drive through the Adirondacks and the leaves are so beautiful. I won't be home until Christmas, so the usual weekends at the lakehouse among the foliage will not materialize.

Same here. I was born and raised in Connecticut, did uni in Pittsburgh, and then moved to Saudi Arabia. I haven't seen fall foliage since 2006. A friend posted this the other day from one of his rides. Made me miss it pretty badly.

throw orange confetti for an hour, then put your hands, feet and balls in ice for three months. You'll see whether you miss the northeast then.

I love the fall. I make it a point to go up to go hiking in Bear Mountain and Harriman State Park every weekend. Here are some recent pics before all the leaves changed colors
