Oh fuck.

You should feel fortunate that I did not transcribe that whole Life of Brian scene instead of a singular quote

He is a Borgia after all.

I wonder if he also penned the Bush père phrase: "Read my lips, no new taxes"?

Not unless Peggy Noonan has had a sex change and starting writing about men's suits.

Or maybe it's those funky shades you're wearing . . .

If you're looking for something to do on the day before meeting Manton, try this

P.S. Someone better take pictures at the book party!

Not to mention I've yet to see an SF forum member who is gay.

Well...

Hello, sailor! (and I'm Jewish too.)

Tho' a fruit, I do not yet have my own 'nom de plum.' If I go to the party, do you think that Manton (who plays for the New York Hets, as far as I know) will tell me how to get one?

Mental note: avoid drinking coffee while reading SF! Ow, my chest hurts!

Looks like I may not get to go! I just got a rush freelance project.

I picked up a copy today at B&N (I was planning to purchase the copy tomorrow, but figured I may as well use my B&N discount since I may not make it to the signing). The book looks great from the little I saw so far.

Three cheers to the publisher for using Mucca Design. They would have been better served using me, but Matteo and company at Mucca do some kick butt design work.

With some luck I will get to stop by tomorrow.
