Book Party for Manton's "The Suit"

I am very pleased to invite the forum members and their friends to the official book party honoring Manton and the publication of his new book, "The Suit."

Gene Venanzi, the owner of Venanzi's, has graciously offered his lovely store for the event.

The particulars:

June 1st, Thursday
6:00 to 8:00 pm
Venanzi
3 West 56th Street (off Fifth Avenue)
New York City

Books will be available for purchase and signing by Nicholas Antongiavanni (a/k/a "Manton"). Since Mr. Venanzi has ordered books we request that books be purchased at the party unless your book was pre-ordered from another seller.

We have invited members and guests of Style Forum, Ask Andy, and London Lounge. There should be some menswear celebrities and surprise guests.

So that we can plan refreshments, please RSVP by e-mail to me at mail@seitelman.com.

We look forward to seeing you at the kick-off of Manton's first book!

Is it really true? I heard that J and Steve B. and LA Guy and Brian and Bradford are all flying in for the event?

That would be fun, but I doubt it...

Congrats, Manton, have fun! Looking forward to reading the book.

You buying the tix, Alex?

Actually, I'll do my best to get there...

Hey Alex,

Just PM me for my address so that you can send the limo to pick me up! If it's not too much trouble, a bottle of 1990 Grand Dame would be nice for the ride.

Fok.

I actually did check out Travelocity to see what it would cost me to go round trip from Phoenix to NYC. I could do it for cheaper than buying a shirt from Alex but the subsequent divorce would cost me a lot more!

I'll just have to wait and get my copy of the book from Amazon.

I guess Manton was too modest to mention it, but he reviewed a new biography of Beau Brummel in this weekend's Weekend Journal. If you have a chance, its definitely worth a read.

Not bad. Managed to get tweaked by 3 of the 4 mods ... AND the Boss ... all on one page. Is that a new record? Do I get some sort of prize?

It would be cool to come out, but uh... I can't afford it.

I'd love to go, but I have nothing to wear.

WSJ.com is actually open to the public this week, so for those of us, like me, who don't subscribe - here's a link to Manton's article.

It should work for a while at least

For those of us that are unable to attend in person, how do we get a signed version of Manton's book?
