Too light / contrasty for my taste, personally. But there are a fair amount of devotees to the dark-suit-with-light-brown-shoe look on SF. It can be done, but you'll appear on the dandyish side. If that's what you're going for, then more power to you.

I think it's fine as long as you're not going for a very conservative look. If you are, stick with dark brown, burgundy or black.

For those of you that would not pair these shoes with navy, what color suit do you think would go best with these shoes? I assume gray?

Those shoes would look much better with a lighter gray suit.

+1. I'm not a fan of the color of those shoes with navy suits, but light/mid gray would look nice.

Yah, I'm afraid they might be too light for navy suits. The thing is I already have plenty of shoes in brown, black, and merlot. So, I'd like a lighter color. But, almost all of my suits are navy . . .

I use Walnut A-E's with my blue suits all the time. Looks great!

That's a great, versatile color. Perfect for navy and pretty much anything lighter than charcoal.
