For people in (or going to) New York City - I just checked out/tried this iPhone App:

CityShow GPS Tour Guide of NYC

There is not much shopping information on it, but it has plenty of other "tour guide" information for those that are into that type of thing. A full shopping version would be very cool.

I think it is fun to play with while roaming the streets here...
