Will Windows 7 run well on a 2.0ghz processor with 2 gigs ram? Well, would it be a worthwhile upgrade from XP given those are my specs?

My brother has a similar system and he said that Windows 7 is running better than XP ever did.

Well I'm installing Ubuntu 9.10 this week when it comes out, I may troll the torrent sites for W7 to replace my XP Home Distro I'm using now. Or maybe I won't since I boot into Windows maybe once a week.

I am actually surprised that is only 2K calories. Some of the larger Hardee's burgers have clocked in around 1.5K and were not nearly that big.

my system has 2gb and it runs 7 just fine, little slimmer then vista(memory/space wise). i think if you can run vista, 7 will run fine. to get fancy GUI effects you may need a graphics processor to handle it though
