There's a googlerumor that they are going to offer a free Google Maps GPS for Android. Not only does this have TomTom and Garmen scared, but imagine the pay-for advertising that would be possible. As you're getting turn-by-turn directions down Main Street, you could be getting advertisements for the actual businesses that are lining the street. The directions could actually say "Turn Left ahead, 300 feet, at Panera Bread."
