Categorization of clothes

Hello all,

Listen up - I have a project that I would really like you to help me with!

I am doing some research into how to design the perfect clothes database. This is why I need your help.

When we are talking about clothes, shoes, accesories i.e. we use different words to categorize what we are talking about. The most obvious could be clothes being either pants, shirts, or hats for instance. Furthermore colour is an obvious term for categorization.

Imagine that your were to design a database like I have to, which categories are important if the database should be able to contain all "items of wearable stuff". I both need category names, and options within.

Which words are important when talking about clothes?

Ill start:

Type (pants, shirts, t-shirts, x, x ,x x,x x x, x)
Colour (blue, red, yellow i.e. (#colour code))
Manufacturer (Gucci, Hugo Boss, Levis, Prada, x, x, x, x)
Material (Cotton, x,x,x,x,x,x,x)
Shop (Macys, Walmart, Gucci Store,x,x,x,x,x)
Price (number)
Style (classy, punk, x,x,x,x,,x,x)
Collection (spring 2009 - just like this or?)
Product number (some number)
Product name (levis 501,x,x,x)

Give me some more please =)
