Wow, 7 posts in and talking smack. Welcome! FStyles has a great tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, which I and others enjoy and you apparently missed.

As to your substantive point, ditto.

^^^^ Did you receive a SF gift bag when you reached post 100?

If I were still in singleland, I'd wear a pocket square on a first date. I would not wear a bowtie or an ascot (day cravat), however.

Of course. Where else will you keep the chloroform?

I gave him a roll of toilet paper err, a charger's ticket. You can have one too at 100. I also genuinely enjoyed your 'humble' opinion. It was laugh out loud fun. Good to know that there are guys out there who notices the 'little things." And probably scrolled up and down between my post and his to make sure he captured my spelling just right they dont' make them like you anymore....

What do you wear for work?

Man don't go on a lunch date with her. Especially if she's a co-worker.

But aside from that, i'd say don't wear the square. Definitely don't wear a puffy one. Just a nice straight white square could be ok.

If you're gonna do the lunch date thing, let your intentions be known early. Say something like "i'm only going on a lunch date with you cos i think you might be too expensive to take to dinner" or something like that. In a jokey way of course. But then she knows what's up.

It probably depends, in part, on the girl. If she seems like somebody that is into fashion, then she'll probably appreciate the ps. If she is not very "girly" then you don't want to appear to be the more "girly" of the two. Wearing a ps, you can either come off as somebody who takes pride in their appearance, or you can end up looking like (or being improperly perceived as) a pompous *ss. Some of my female friends would probably react favorably to a guy wearing a pocket square, and I know others who would not. I do like wearing a pink tie, which I believe the OP mentioned. If you do wear a pink tie, I'd go conservative with the ps -- probably white linen, tv fold.

Like others have said, wear what you want to wear, If she finds a square to be gay or whatever fuck her. Oh and FStyles your nuts are in a jar. No woman tells me what to wear EVER.
