If you do live in a soap opera, odds are good you will be crazy, if you are not now. And probably lost at sea, trapped in a burning building, falsely accused of murder, and then killed and resurrected, possibly with a new actor playing you.

That doesn't sound too bad, DH... But seriously, I just realized today that I can't really trust most of my (even the most true) friends with any secrets because everyone is tied in with someone else, everyone gossips, and everyone has their own agenda. And there are good reasons for all of that because even in our small circle there are all kinds of crazy things going on, from extramarital affairs and love quadrangles (love triangles are for pussies) to cash payoffs, drugs (probably the least of anyone's problems) and other misc. destructive happenings... Sometimes I just think: this is not going to end well.

Don't get me wrong, I'd trust them with my life in most situations. Just not with gossip-worthy material or something.
