Hey all,

I'm trying convertible cuffs on my next bespoke shirt. For any of you that have tried convertible cuffs, do you have any comments or suggestions regarding them?

Depends on the weather. Here, I could use them 3 or 4 months a year. Tops.

If by convertible cuff, you mean a french cuff with the button in case you don't a handy cuff link(a la Thin Red Line cuffs)
which is my only experience these type of cuffs
I think that they are convenient , but
not something that's out of this world

Yah, convertible cuffs allow you to button the cuff or use cuff links. The main difference is that you don't fold back the cuff for a normal french cuff.

I have one convertable cuff shirt and I hate it. Looks like garbage as a french cuff so I never wear it that way.

I work in a casual setting, tie optional. Sometimes the convertible cuff with a more relaxed cufflink works alright.

I would not order another MTM with one however.

So no positive comments. I may rethink this.

if you do get a convertable cuff, make sure that the cuff is made about 1/4- 1/2" smaller then usual as there is not as much fabric to fill the space in the cufflink.

and the sleeve would hang lower.
Have the shirtmaker save enough fabric for tradtioonal french cuffs so it can be swapped out, if you are unhappy.

I agree. I have a couple of those and would not buy such shirts again.
