A guy I know is selling his rolex oyster submariner. It's 1 year old, and he claims it's in great condition, worn only 10 times, and is selling it because he lost his job and needs $. He says he paid $4999.99 for it, and I have the opportunity to get it for $1850. Is this a good deal assuming it's in the condition he describes? I'm waiting for pictures and documents to be sent to be to reassure it's condition, so let's pretend the watch is in the condition he says it is, yay/nay.go.

If it is authentic then that is an extremely good deal, especially if it is the version with the date. An authorized Rolex dealer can authenticate the watch for you.

I'm still waiting on pics from this guy. He's already 12 hours late on them, if this is what it's going to be like for the rest of the transaction, i dont know...

The guys in the houston,tx area. are many sf members in the houston area in case i need to assemble a ruthless reckless sabotaging baby murdering rampage wielding crew for a houston texas twilight fan club convention

You're on your own if you drop 2k on a fake Rolex. Good luck though...
