Wow -

I'm sorry this isn't my size. 42-43L's with a 32 inseam may want to take a look.

This would be a cool suit to have.

I'd get up from my chair wearing that and someone would yell "We're gonna have movies!"

Steve -

You'd look great in that suit paired with one of your panama hats!

Well, maybe not that suit- a 46L might be better.

That is a RIDICULOUS selling price. A used Polo selling for $300? I mean, it was a really cool suit, but . . . . Maybe its uniqueness upped the bidding.

It's uniqueness is what kept me from bidding. That is a once or twice a season suit. $300 is pushing it for something that close to costume (IMHO). I'd have snapped it up at about half the price...

Perfect for Ceylon or Burma.

I disagree -- the suit was listed in "as new" condition. It's an ivory piece, and looking at the photos, especially where the pant and jacket cuffs are shown, it does indeed appear altered but unworn.

I've seen used Oxxfords in rather tired cloth of suspect patterns sell for more than this. By way of craftsmanship there's no comparison between the two, but if you were in the market for a DB ivory suit of this character, given it's apparently new condition I can well understand how the buyer may find the price to be reasonable.
