-Videos games @ 35%. -god damn it's good to be white (azn, hispanic, white women only respond well to white men) -my idea of claiming to believe in the Greek gods is actually successful dating tactic

Thanks, I'll change my strategy a little. Interesting how the word "sorry" was so well-received. Self-deprecating humor? Also, didn't expect "How's it going?" to rate so highly as an opening, I would have expected something more unique to work better. And yes, I date online

Interesting stuff, particularly the entry on race and dating. Just to add, my anecdotal experience is that white women are more open to interracial dating if they are politically liberal and/or have a graduate degree.

It's horrible if you want to date some of these PYTs (pretty young things), but you see them going after total douche bags who have no sense of direction in life, can't hold a conversation and whose lives revolve around beer, beer and more beer. This is not only true in online dating, but overall.

I fail at online dating. Women never write me back.

I only try once a year or so, and I only end up messaging one girl. Last time on OKCupid I messaged a girl who was a very close match, and who had some fairly specific interests in common. I wrote a nice letter introducing myself and highlighting some common interests and never heard a thing. I was somewhat disappointed.

That's because you responded in a nice, predictable, but in a woman's view, "boring" manner, just like tons and tons of other guys who emailed her. You have to be different - tease them, make them wonder/think what you mean, make them laugh, say something interesting. For example, make a joke or two about some of her interests and tell her how that means she is "trouble" for you...

With women, logic ("we have similar interests, etc") goes out the window.
