Good to see for Mr Lattanzi, having fallen from the dazzling heights he occupied in the early 2000s to very much an irrelevance today, that at least he has one loyal fan left in Australia.

It is very true that Lattanzi did occupy dazzling heights once,
and you are right,
he has become irrelevant these days,
and rightly so.
Too many quirks from the staff,
too much crazy stuff happening with the shoes,
Too much aloofness overall from everyone,
and too costly for the lack of care these days.

Lattanzi can still make excellent shoes,
and when they are right they are very very right.
Me a big fan,
but me not closed eyed to the nonsense going on there.
He does not deserve to occupy those dazzling heights anymore.
Other makers have caught up imo,
and they probably have much better attitudes.

Lattanzi comes across as old and tired.
They have had their days imo.
The son is trying to cash in on Silvano's reputation and charge the big $$$$ too,
but he is dreaming,
he is not fooling anyone.

Dang dude! Those are special. :worship2:
A lucky find in my size for an absolute steal. A wholecut chelsea is the perfect canvas for alligator. A navy/blue sueded alligator Burnham on a commando sole would be amazing. Maybe one of these days I will make it a reality.
