Im with you both. Recently snagged a pair of Gucci alligator belly loafers in cocoa that are incredible. I want a glossy black laceup for business next but I cant drop 3k on shoes.... yet.

Luke warm interest, temperature is slowly increasing...esp after receiving a choice pair from the B&S forum here at sub c-note pricing.

I have one pair of each which I wear sparingly. I get complements on these more than most of the shoes I own. Go figure.

OK, so pretty unanimous so far. Favorite brands? Mezlan and Mauri arent doing it for me - want something a little better. Ideas?

Two pairs of Mezlan. Love them. One loafers and one laceup.

Are they neck skins or bellys? I had one pair of necks and the quality didnt cut it for my standards. After about 10 wears they split at the top seams (loafers).

RL and BB have had some very nice croc and gator shoes over the years. Rider has had nice ones, too.
