its 1999 tour de france urine samples were backtested with today's EPO detector and the test was positive. But I'm not going into a rhetorical argument here, everyone will make its own opinion based on the facts.

Backtested by whom? How old were the samples? Who had possession of them in the interim? Regardless, even if your assertion is true, this is not a rhetorical issue, it is an epistemological issue of empirical validity. I'm not saying I know for a fact that the man never doped, but you don't know for a fact that he did either.

I wonder if Cav will even win a stage this year. I hope I am wrong.
Thank heavens I was wrong.

haha, yeah he looked on-form today! I used to not like sprint finishes because the GC guys were never in the mix, but I've grown to like the tension of the whole thing. After a spring finish I'm always suprised how much I tense up before.

Okay, race really starts tomorrow (Stage 8) and then a rest day. What is everyone thinking at this point? Tomorrow could see a real shake up in the GC standings.

Well other than Levi today it didn't look like any other radioshack guys were able to ride with the GC "group" on today's intermediate mountain stage - doesn't bode well for Lance's tour. Excited to see some attacks tomorrow though!

Yup, was thinking the same thing. If Lance doesn't have two or three team mates that can hang, he's got very little chance. Should be interesting.

Armstrong can't seem to catch a break this year, he just crashed again just before the first decent climb of the tour. He rarely hit the pavement during his 7 year reign.

And now someone goes down right in front of him before the final climb. Karma? I hope Wiggins and Evans can hang with Contador and make this race interesting.

Its what happens when you race without juicing.

^ doping, the term you're looking for is doping. Not that what you said makes any sense . . .
Sure it make it sense. When you rely on winning by DOPING and then you try to win without it your not going to do good.
