SO what this article is trying to tell us is that soon EVERYONE will look like an emo douchebag. I hope what some of you are saying is true and that a NYT article means the style has been dead for a while. One can only hope anyways.

yea hopefully. But it's been nice having them "in" for a bit so I can stock up on jeans to ride out the next resurgence of bootcut. It was hella hard getting a pair of jeans I liked a few years ago when everything was pre-washed and all bootcut.

I'm not a mod in this section or I would do this myself, but I've asked one of the other mods to merge these two threads.

Sorry for missing the earlier one.

It's all good right now, let's not panic because some journalist hipster ruined our little secret.

I'll abandon ship when I see the chubby Movie Producer Guy on Sunset Strip rocking a pair of diamond Encrusted True Religion X Antik X H Lorenzo Limited Edition Collaboration jeans with a 4" rise and a 10" leg opening in Optic White.

Well, True Religion has a skinny model now, as does Antik (I've seen the first, the second, only know by word of mouth.) And I do think that the True Religion model is available in shredded optic white Sorry!

Well, not really.
