I've got two parties this weekend - I'm going as the season autumn Friday night and as a Canadian on Saturday. They're both pretty cheap and possibly a bit lame, but I'm in another country for grad school and most of us are away from home without a lot of our belongings/clothes, so I think most people are stretching for something this year.

Going to a rave dressed as clark kent.

Tried to get a wolverine costume (was thinking I could swap out the claws for glowsticks), but nothing came close to fitting and making my own clark kent costume was much easier/cheaper than making my own wolverine (really only wanted to do it with the yellow/blue costume) costume.

Some DJ thing on friday as well I'm just going to throw something together for, haven't really decided what yet. Gay helicopter pilot maybe.

Parties and such, haven't yet decided to give out candy or not.

Costume-wise, the missus and I might dress in cheap whites and go as pinky and the brain (yes, we are poor). That, or I was thinking I would borrow a friend's fraternity sweatshirt and GAP jeans, stagger around calling people "bro," then throw up in someone's refrigerator.

Last year I was Elmo. The weirdest part was when I was walking down the street, a construction worker started singing the Elmo song (apparently his kid loves Elmo) http://www.buycostumes.com/Sesame-St...uctDetail.aspx This year I'm going as Gingy. http://www.buycostumes.com/Shrek-Gin...uctDetail.aspx
