I'm looking for new boots and I came accross the Sebago "Flotilla" Boots. I think they look great (better than the sperry chukkas) and I'm suprised I havent seen any topics on them yet. Has anyone tried these on or does anyone have a pair. How is the durability of Sebago shoes/boots?

I think the colors are OK, if not a little bland -- though I'm not crazy about the orange.

I've had my docksiders for a year now and they've held up really, really well. Seriously, they look new (except for the once white sole, but even that isn't as bad as you'd expect). The leather was a little tough and took some breaking in, though.

I'm going to buy a pair but I can't decide between black or brown. Which pair is more versatile? Which pair do you all think looks nicer? I normally wear raw/dark jeans and wear khakis/chinos/browncords to my business casual office

i've found their(sebago) soles tend to hold up a bit better than sperry

I purchased a pair of Sebago boots, not Flotillas, but a now-discontinued brand, about 8 years ago. I have worn them on trips abroad on 3 occasions and they have carried me to the top of Ben Lomond in Scotland and to the top of Mt. Snowden in Wales. They have proven to be extremely durable, very comfortable, and as attractive in the office as in the field. I would highly recommend Sebago boots, and am personally looking at the Flotillas as a replacement for my treasured Sebagos, should they ever "go South". But they are still in great shape and I am still wearing them frequently.

I was looking at them a month or so ago. I agree they look better [in pictures atleast] than the sperry chukkas. i wouldn't mind having a pair since my topsiders are all but dead.
