How do you guys dress yourselves when it's rainy season? And no. Umbrellas are not an answer.

I have one of those North Face snowboarding/all purposey jackets but I want something less bulky.

Over 70 degrees? Acne Monsoon jacket in chili pepper red.
Under 70 degrees? Nau Urbane jacket in carbon grey.

I've been looking for a light weight parka for awhile now but apparently spring/summer is when they're sold so I'm sol. All I can find now are heavy/bulky jackets.

I used to have an awesome double breasted Shipley and Halmos raincoat. Then I lost weight and it got too big for me.

And why not umbrellas? Davek makes mad awesome ones.

Check out the REI Newcastle Travel Coat. I bought this over Labor Day in Denver and am loving it. Nau should have some that fit the bill, too.

Think I might pick up a Muji free cut raincoat. $12. You cut the sleeves and hem to your own liking.

Umbrellas are fine. I bet that the $12 Muji does not breathe and makes you sweat. Consider something from Lululemon, if tech fabric works for you.

I just use a $10 Uniqlo umbrella but I'm dumb I guess.

Thinking about copping crescent down works parka or bomber for rainy day steez in conjunction with uniqlo umbrella. I may just keep my apc parka I dunno got no money.

I have a compact umbrella I can throw in my bag if I know it's gonna rain, or my cheapo helly hanson rain jacket that I can roll up into a ball.

This what you had in mind?

A decent umbrella coupled with (depending on the severity of the weather) a mackintosh coat.

what about when its raining at an angle and your legs get all wet and then your umbrella flips up a couple times before breaking due to the wind?
