$500 living room chairs. Any ideas?

We just bought a couch (off-white/bone leather) and we are looking for two chairs to pair with it.

Any recommendation in the $400-500 range per chair? I am not opposed to homage/knock-offs, as I believe I can't purchase the "real deal" for some of the chairs out there.

Thanks guys!

Got a picture of the couch? And what's your apartment/house like?

It's, like, great.

The living room and dining room are elongated (more rectangular than square) with a wood burning fireplace. I want to put the couch facing the fireplace (where we'll also hang the flat screen) and put two chairs on either side.

No picture of the couch - it's being delivered today.

Hmm, hard to find a pic... so it's like this one, except in off-white leather and with those buttons also on the seats and the wooden legs at the corners.

That's a Moo version of my couch. I'm not sure what to suggest for a Moo version of my dining chairs, since they are themselves knock-offs.

It is similar, definitely. I like your couch.

I know knockoffs of the black leather chair in the top-left corner can be found in white for ~$200-300

Is there a padded version of that?

This is a picture of most of the living room from the second floor. Please excuse the mess (we just moved in) and the 1991 leather couch we've been using for the past few years that we got from my wife's mom. It's supremely comfortable, but not really our style.

That's the Barcelona chair... nice. We've seen knock-offs for about $500-600...

they have made padded versions of the shell chairs. they're still not what i would call 'comfortable' though. i have the shell rocker and i really like it. just can't sit in it for extended periods of time. one of the more beautiful chairs though imo.

there's a guy here in town that has dozens of them in several colors. they pop up on ebay a lot.

Thanks - I'll check it out.

Edit: actually, the affordable ones I do like, just not as much as the ones really catching my eye, like the teal Hans Wegner pair. Still, I emailed the wife about the orange Arne Voder and the blue Illum Wikkelso pair.

I'd do Cesca chairs, in contrasting ebony wood and blonde wicker. The Chair One is also really cool.

Interesting... I think the Cescas are nice looking but we want something a but more loungey/less upright, if that makes sense. Can you link me to the Chair One?
