Does Verizon have anything that can compare to the Iphone?

I'm giving up hope that Verizon and Apple will team up for an iphone. I have a boycott against AT&T so they're out of the question.

I need a new phone. Does verizon offer anything near as cool as the iphone?

Closest thing is the Blackberry Storm. I had one for almost 9 months. You can get similar apps for the Storm that the iphone has. The major complaint for the Storm is the lag between going from landscape view(sideways) to portrait view(vertical) but you can download a program to lock the screen into portrait mode so that takes care of hte problem. The blackberry storm doesn't run as smooth as the iphone but it is comparable. I'd rate the phone a solid 8/10.

Also, don't get a Storm, the Storm 2 will be released eminently.

I have. They rave about certain phones and then I read what actual customers say. Like the samsung rogue. It got an editors choice award. Then everybody where I read people say it's crap. Slow, unresponsive etc.

Looks as if they will be getting a handfull of Android devices soon. I say hold out for that, most all apps that are available for iPhone are available for android.

I use a Storm. It isn't an iPhone, but it isn't horrible. Once you get the battery-sucking demons exorcised from it!

Thy also have the Rouge (sp?) but I don't know how close it is to the iphone
