They're L.L. Bean boots, so they're only stocked at their stores (unless you can find some from private sellers on ebay...).  The boots are made by Chippewa, so you can find similar boots made by them (Homestead, Service Boot, the 20065 "GQ") in a number of places.

They're likely on the same last as the Chippewa 20065... I don't think Red Wing and Chippewa share lasts.

Thanks, but I found a discount code that brings it down to $168.

^^ Nice!

Indeed - now I'm definitely getting them.

Btw, does anyone know how these compare to AE sizes? I have Strand in 11D which are a little tight, but the rough leather ones like Neumok fit perfectly in 11D...

Looks like it's been used

If anyone has a code he's not gonna use, feel free to share :)

@jayw's 20% off code still seems to work:  KTL6458 .

I don't know what the restrictions are.

I might have a 20% off code at home. I remember getting a mailer

but there is 10% off on the website right now along with a $10 gift card

The 20% code is couple of posts up, and it can be reused.

Here's the gift card I received in e-mail

jayw, thanks for the gift card code. I got 10$ off my order. The 20% code didn't work, looks as though it has been replaced with a 10%.

I got a pair of the plain toe cordovan for my husband. I've been wearing the cap-toe original style since March, and I love them.

10% is pretty low, but I'm wondering if LL Bean is going to offer something like a 20-25% discount on cyber Monday.

20% off in the mailers is the highest discount i've ever seen with LLbean.

Yeah, same here. It is curious - are there margins that low? I mean, 20% during the holidays seems like peanuts compared to other businesses. Most are of their items aren't 3rd party so I don't see why they can't have bigger sales ha-ha. I suppose their always huge sales/clearance sections are something though...

First snow just fell today and it reminded me that I had to buy me some boots nod[1].gif. I've been eyeing the Katahdins for a year now and I've decided that I want to try them for the winter! I usually wear shoes during the winter and just scrap them an throw them away in the spring, but I finally decided to get some real boots to wear.

If I wear 41 in CP's, 42 in MMM, 9 in Vans would I also be a 9 in Katahdins?

Thanks!
