Some on screen messages are in spanish, as well as some commercials and the opening theme song. Marc Anthony sang the national anthem. It's all part of Latin Heritage Month. What does SF think? EDIT: Referees are also speaking spanish.

I would point people to Canada, to see how well two official languages and a "distinct society," foster a unified country.

i enjoyed it....although i am disappointed that i didn't learn how to say "the J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK!" in Spanish.

It's not easy to say it literally, but you can come up with some fine insults nontheless:

I would try something like "Los Jets se pueden ir al carajo." which means The Jets can go to hell, or more literally, the Jets can go to the shithouse.


Or perhaps, "Los Jets son pendejos" -- the Jets are assholes, or more accurately, "the Jets are pubic hairs."

Well the game featured Miami and the NFL has made no secret of its desire to court the hispanic/latino market so who cares.

I'm just pissed that the Jets defense gave up so many points they blew my chance to go 5-0 in my fantasy league.
