i think what the op means is a pea coat jacket with 4 buttons? I've seen a couple ppl wearing them in person and they look just like pea coats

I really like wool blazers. i also just picked up a wool "walking coat" that has a "bib" underneath (looks like a zip up sweater) that looks great.

This is what I am looking for...only in navy. Anyone know where I can get one?

Based on that picture, I don't see what's so unusual about it. Change out the buttons on a surplus coat, and you've almost got the same garment.

this was on sale at barneys 1-2 months ago, you missed it now that it was last seasons, you can only hope to find it on blufly.

It's cut short, has some weird shoulder roping going on, and probably has super high armholes. You won't find those in a mil surplus coat. If you want to find the coat you should start asking around at the retail stores that would have carried it. One of them might still have them on the rack and would probably be on sale.

we actually were carrying something very similar to this i think there like 20 bucks now

I dont know of anyone else that carries anything even similar at a cheaper price but i will say i tried on this exact coat when it first came out at barneys. The salesman insisted it'd look good on me and seriously it was one of the nicests coats. I love how its cropped and i especially loved the buttons. I think it also came in a red tartan type fabric (something similar to what a hunter or something would wear)
