Thanks, Luxire. Is yoke the same measurement as for shirts then or does something need to be added? And how would you compare coat sleeve length to shirts?

Hi Luxire,

I sent you a pm about the measurements, would appreciate your input.

Cheers

How true to size is the bond peacoat? The XS seems like a good fit for me, but the shoulder seems to be unusually big considering the other measurements.

The Billy Reid one or the Luxire? I have the BR one and it fits true to size for me.

the BR one. it just seems sort of unusual to have such a large shoulder measurement for a coat with a 36 inch chest. e.g. my mackintosh double breasted coat has a 15.7 in shoulder for a 40 inch chest.

I'm a 38 and the small fits my shoulders perfectly. I do have broad shoulders but even if I didn't 15.7 shoulders for a size 40 chest seems really low to me..I thought 18" for shoulders is the norm for 40 inch chest give or take.

oops, i meant to say 16.75. not sure how that got mixed up. i really like the BR coat but i'm just afraid the shoulders would be too large

Is this the US Navy style listed on your website?

Can you tell me a little bit about how the shoulders are padded? Is it possible to get no shoulder padding at all?

I've been searching around for an XS J Crew Bayswater peacoat for some time and haven't had any luck, so I'm taking a look at some others in that price range. Does anyone own the RL Denim & Supply classic peacoat? It's at a good price with their current sale, just want to find out about the fit/quality of it. I considered the J Crew Dock but I'm not a fan of the lower pocket flaps.

Did they stop selling them on the J Crew website? I haven't looked since this time last year. I know that they had sales galore last November.

Ordered my first peacoat with Luxire. It's a modified Skyfall peacoat with a larger collar and lapel and the lapel angle is made more horizontal. Can't wait.

I'm about to order from them as well, what fabric did you get? I wanna see how the herringbone grey looks in a full peacoat.
