Finally got the spec coat in a decent fit (32R). There is no way that sizing chart from Sterlingwear is accurate.

If there is any interest I can try to provide some rough measurements on the coat.

I'd be interested in some pics and measurements.

To try and use some sort of standard for the measurements, I attempted to follow the method Context uses to measure their shirts: http://www.contextclothing.com/servi...how_we_measure

If anyone wants me to measure anything else, let me know.

Shoulder: 17"
Pit to Pit: 18.5ish" (this one might be off by about a half an inch)
Sleeve: 24.75"
Length: 29" (taken starting from the end of the collar)

I'm lacking a way to take a decent picture and a place to host pictures, so I'm not going to to able to post any fit pics at this time.

So when you took the sz 32 is 32 also your chest size?

Chest measurements seem to be a bit of a dark art for Sterlingwear. The size you choose will depend on if you want a tighter fit or no (layering, etc). I wanted a slimmer fit so I went with the 32R (originally I had ordered a 34R).

How did 34R work for you fitwise?

I'm happy with the fit so far (I don't layer that much). The big test for the coat will come when it actually starts to get cold out.

Do you still have your 34R coat? I would like to get measurements also, since by the look of those measurements, I wouldn't have any space to layer since my shirts have a 18 p2p or would I?
