Is that back belt part functional? Do you pull from the inside of you want to cinch the waist? Otherwise it’s a nice piece. Color is great!

This right here is a Route 66 “Blue Light Special” purchased for $50 from KMart over twenty years ago. 75/25 wool/nylon blend, oversized, with a quilted lining. This thing outlasted the company that sold it!

Hi guys. what do you think of the fit of this Gloverall? apart from the slightly long sleeves. I'm only wearing a shirt.

It looks good to me, a nice fit. I wouldn't say that the sleeves are overly too long, for the style. I would not bother with shortening them.

Look what just arrived, in time for spring ;)

I am super happy with the fit and the condition of this World War 2 peacoat. I'm guessing it has all it's original parts, including the buttons and throat latch. The lining is untorn. There's only a small hole in the seam of the left corduroy pocket, but that should be a quick stitch.

This is actually my second WW2 peacoat. I bought my first one in 2012, and sold it in 2020. It was too small for me, but I got a lot of wear out of it anyway even though it was uncomfortable. Since 2020, I was looking for the right one, which finally happened last week. Every now and then, I luck out on eBay ;)

Excellent score and an excellent fit. These are becoming much more difficult to find. A friend of mine finally found one in good condition in a size 32. A rare size, but it fits her diminutive 5' 2" 100 pound frame.

Neighborhood used to make some very high quality peacoats. It’s been a few years since their last one. Below is the last one they made as far as I know.

One peacoat I would have loved to own was the Neighborhood x Adidas from 2009.
