Shampoo for Hard Water?

I just moved to London and I've got hard water. I just moved into grad student housing and can't make changes to the shower head (as in, I can't by contract and also I literally wouldn't know how to put a filter on this specific shower head). Since I can't adjust the water, I was wondering if any of you have suggestions for good shampoo for hard water (preferably shampoo that can be purchased in London)?

I've got wavy, thick hair so this piece-y "dirty" look works for a bit . . . but now it's getting ridiculous.

Any clarifying shampoo will remove the buildup of hard water in your hair, as they are acidic and hard water is alkaline. Look for Acetic Acid in the ingredients. They have a tendency to strip out a lot of moisture in your hair, so it shouldn't be used every time you wash it and you'll need to apply a conditioner. Pantene Pro V Clarifying Shampoo is sold at Boots. Alternating between 2 brands of shampoos will keep your hair from developing buildup. So you'll want to consider 3 products 1) Clarifying Shampoo for occasional buildup removal http://www.boots.com/en/Pantene-Pro-...-_-c9001_link6 2) Regular shampoo (which you probably have) 3) Conditioner - Any Pantene Pro V Conditioner will do, they tend to be less expensive than other brands/[/url]
