i always thought bruce lee was overrated as well. just wanted to wait till someone stated before i said anything though. i also think jackie chan is same ol tiring to watch.

Chuck used to frequent the Jet Center in the 80's. On more than one occasion he took time to instruct "Jr" - my designation for years in that particular dojo. He was always a great guy and had a lot more practical ring experience than his movies/tv shows would suggest.

although he didn't "get" muay thai when I knew him in 1986.

In what way was Bruce Lee overrated? I don't doubt that there are a bunch of guys who could kick his ass in a theoretical fight, but for all the other aspects - personality, influence, cultural significance, gigantic fucking steez - no one else comes close.
