How can I reassign paste special from Ctrl Shift V or whatever to Alt+E+S?

Thanks.

Tools>Customize>Commands>Keyboard Categories > Edit Commands> EditPasteSpecial Hit your desired hotkey "Alt+E+S". $1,000,000 please.

Does he need my SS#? I'll only give that to him over the phone. You never know who's on the internets

Bounty has not yet been claimed. You sure you looking at Outlook 2007? My Tools>Customize>Commands does not have a keyboard option. I think that was an Outlook 2003 thing, and quite obvious at that!

In about a month I have sent at least 30 emails prematurely while trying to paste special.

Metro I can't answer your question, but add a rule that delays sending of all messages by one minute. It's a life saver.

This exists? How do you enable and how do you then "cancel send" within the one minute? Go to outbox and delete, or what?

A workaround for this is simply to tell Outlook always to run a spell-check before sending, and then make sure that there's some word (like "tel") that it always picks up in your signature. It's cumbersome, but it has saved me embarrassment a few times!

If by "Control-shift-V or whatever" you actually mean Control-V (paste), you won't be able to - pasting is a function of Windows (the operating system), not Outlook (the application) [-resident geek].

No I meant paste special, which is Ctrl Shift V or Ctrl Alt V or some other RETARDED shortcut considering every other mail client in the world as well as every other MS Office App ever has Alt E S as paste special. What's more, they decided to make Alt E S the "SEND NOW" shortcut to make it even more ridiculous. Why they would do this is beyond me.

And also, "paste special" is not a function of Windows.
